A shopping bot is a search engine that surfs through multiple online retailers and presents comparison shopping data for shoppers. For example, such a bot would give you the price of a certain book at AMZN as well as two or three other booksellers. I have used such a bot for a couple of years to find deals on computer equipment. Gives complete price range and features of an item, name, phone, website etc of dealers. I use the bot, pick a dealer, fill in the order form, and two days later Fedex brings me the modem or whatever. Rick
