If Geraldo comes on, Dan walks out of the room until I turn him off. He IS terrible, and I also like Chris Matthews, but my boys don't like his confrontational style.

Ammo still thinks PeeWee is funny. What a double standard we have displayed though! We accept our president's disgusting behavior saying that it doesn't affect the job he does, and PeeWee is thrown out and ostracized for his private behavior. Do we really think the President of the United States has less influence than a rather strange TV character?

The contempt for law and the courts seems omnipresent. I am admittedly biased in the American Airlines dispute, but still feel that to ignore court orders, to strike- which is what a sickout is, by any name- illegally is to tear at the foundations of an orderly society and should not be tolerated.

Flicker recently posted a site on DAR-
adaweb.walkerart.org

This is apparently a list of truisms, one of which was
"You are a victim of the rules you live by."
I don't feel like a victim of the rules, rather I choose to live by them because in general they enable life to flow smoothly and cooperatively, which is not to say that I accept them unquestioningly. But a victim by definition is taken advantage of or harmed by someone or something; I don't see that rules do this automatically.
Digressing is fun...
