Downsouth, >>>Windows2000. The release date for that ranges from
July 99 to Feb 2000.
The last I heard was sometime in September 99 but who knows.<<<

I thought it was out into 2000. Latest was that Windows 2000 was not Y2K compliant, had to be fixed. Now that's embarrassing. Windows 2000 ,formerly NT 5.0 is extremely important to Microsoft and Intel in that it's supposed to address a lot of the shortcomings of 4.0 in the areas of scalability, robustness and reliability. Then, Wintel servers could REALLY compete with Sun Solaris and IBM S390 which are the serious OS's. I hope Win 2000 makes it on time and works.

You are extremely bullish wrt Microsoft. Have you always been this way, more so than ever, or what. I'm looking at buying some MSFT. Thanks.

Tony
