I agree Pruguy. Sounds like a mistake in the story. Streaming multimedia will become is much more useful with broadband, but it's still available even with a 28.8 modem. With my ADSL connection, for instance, I watch Bloomberg TV everyday while I'm getting tick-for-tick quotes from myTrack and still clicking away on web pages. That would lug down any modem.
