I'm not offended. I just don't want credit where credit isn't due.
To be honest, I don't know who thought of the idea first, but yes, I thought it up on my own, without any input from anyone. I assme Charles did the same, and I do recall discussing the idea here before seeing it anywhere else.
I assume people like Bork and Scott McNealy have better things to do than spend their time reading, and stealing ideas from, this thread, but, then again, who knows? ;)
I guess it also just goes to show that great minds think alike. ;)
I am also quite convinced it is the one outcome Microsoft would do almost anything in the world to avoid, and, though I have heard the arguments about tribal loyalty to Bill, how everyone would want to work for him and no one else, for the life of me, I really don't understand why. |
