massive IA-64 project.

That reminds me of some mainframe projects I worked on. Well, it is one, anyway (Merced). Years in the making and a cast of thousands. I would say that Intel would have a bit of IP, intellectual property, in their back pocket to do with this baby when they (and HP) are done.
