Actually, as first mis-reported by a group of self-congratulating Coast Guard and DEQ (State of Oregon's Enviromental Group), the tanker still contains 10-20% of it's fuel and they are trying to re-ignite the remaining oil as it seeps out into the ocean, settles into the oyster and crab beds, and washes up on the local beaches.
