Hi Tom,
As long as we're on the subject of "long term" maybe you could supply us with a definition of what long term is.

Is it someone who buys and holds for 5 years without ever trading ? Could it be someone who buys and holds their entire position for the required 1 year for IRS LTCG classification ? Or could it be someone who buys and holds their core position for 1 year or longer, but trades in and out with a second position ? Perhaps it could be an investor who holds ANY portion of an issue for one year ? Of course someone might be a long termer if they day traded an issue for several years ?

Please give us some sort of definition on this issue lest myself or others falsely declare ourselves long termers from a lack of proper information.

Thanks,
John
