Thanks for your response Morrie. I think it's called a "Jack of all Trades and a Master of None".. Used to practice as CPA (only residual services now are asset management for a small, finite group of clients), late 60s-early 70s - simultaneously started software company (mortgage banking, legal industry, CPA industry, and some niche services and applications to general business - IBM Premier Business Partner for AS/400, RS/6000, LAN/WAN Systems Integration Design, Installion, and Support Services), a few retail operations (restaurant franchises, gasoline/service stations), and real estate investment company. Responsibilities currently include the software company, real estate investment company, and asset management for a few affluent individuals (mostly 20+ year relationships from practicing CPA days).
Software company relatively small (about 50 people), but manages to keep me off the golf course more than it should. I'll refer your web page to my network services staff; they'll have a much better understanding than I would. Good luck to you in your investing activities! -Kent |
