Rocky's Rumors

Below is the latest from the Syquest board. I wonder where he heard these rumors? According to the American Heritage Dictionary, rumor is defined as "unverified information of uncertain origin usually spread by word of mouth". Rocky, you wouldn't have some more unverified information of uncertain origin for us, would you?

All sorts of weird rumors surrounding the Syquest right now. One is that the asset purchase deal with Iomega is not finalized because a large voting block of Syquest shareholders are against the sale to Iomega. They appear to be holding out for more.

Another rumor is that Microsoft is gearing up to buy Syquest in order to secure the brand name for when the Feds eventually break up Microsoft(just like AT&T). The new independent hardware division would include the Syquest brand.

Rumors that Microsoft is reorganizing its divisions as we speak (in order to prepare for an eventual Fed break-up) are mounting.
