Cash Flows:

One questions for Les was what properties were expected to generate
income in 1997.

Telecom is genetating cash flow. I will find out more today but
my guess was revenue of 400K with a 20% profit = $80,000

Oil: I asked Les if we can safely project revenue based on the past
news release. He indicated that it is common for oil properties to
have less costs per barrel as production increases. The estimates
in the news release were somewhat misleading in that the yearly figures
are not calendar years so 1996 is actually from July 1 1996 to June 30,
1997 and so on. I need to recheck my math but I believe it yeilded
some $7,000,000 for 1997.

Gold: Les asked if we had done a cash flow based on the last news
release given the small production. Actually it looked like such
small production that I didn't bother. Apparently it is not such
a trival figure. I'll do this on the plane but hopefully someone
can do one and post it before I get back.

Copper: I think we have done a calculation based on the news release
in November but I need to go back and check.

This is the cash flow which has been release and therfore not confidential.
We also know development is going on with the Chilean properties so
from that we can infer additional income from these properties.

As I had said before, for a small company to have such a strong positive
cash flow makes it a very healthy company and allow Les and Ian to
focus on future business rather than worring about how to pay their
bills.
