It's standard procedure to include one-time acquisition charges in the following quarter. I believe they will split a portion of the costs via a one-time R&D-type charge, and the other portion (goodwill) will be depreciated. Given the one-time nature of the costs from the transaction, many analysts examine the numbers from a continuing operations standpoint, which would tend to exclude charges such as the one mentioned above. RT
