I can take a stab at it, though I doubt it will ease your mind very much.
the first Cisco, you, start your handle with a capitol "C". The second uses a small "c", and the third guy was a visitor.
Now, there's a whole other can of worms when someone does an SI search for "Cisco", they get the same results as if they searched for "cisco"
FWIW, I have another of the same example for you.
Here we have "Casper", who is a member
Member 3354997,
And then, there's "casper", another member
Member 4301817.
And now for something more of a twist. About a year ago, this guy shows up as a visitor:
Member 4472614.
And the day after his "trial membership" expires, I get a private from a "visitor" with the name "Casper". No relationship to the other caspers.
I can't find him in my peoplemarks anymore(and a search only shows the two I linked), but I have printed and saved that private.
