i think doug made a mistake when he told us it was the ramada inn we were staying at, i think the real name was the "retirement" inn. the wwII reunion outdid doug's seminar attendance by one or two members, hehe.
don't drink the water in a new location, got one family member extremely ill, wifeov is still in fla tending to the problems(no vd goodies fer me,so do i go to bimbo bar?no, i start work on new week of picks, see how dedicated i am...)
don't forget the aspirin. pack it next to the socks and underwear.if you have young children, get something stronger...
roundtable thursday lasted til 5.30, doug was a little wobbly after that one, i think andrew roughed him up and dumped him off in my room...we had a long discussion about the 89 and tool relationship, and i had to harass him that at least he has something that works now!!!
don't get a room below the roundtable session. you see at a retirement home, we were considered "noisy"!
friday, they kicked us otta the bar, then, by 4 or 5 in the morning, security decided maybe the bar was the best place for us!!! alski was below us, so he probably got just as much not being there as he would have had he attended.he 'claims' to not have made the complaint calls to mgmt... i thought we were gonna have to call james' room to get him down to the seminar, but he came in better shape than blake.
seminar was stellar as usual, cept for that bit of slurring...
wifeov made the roundtable that nite, and although she was pretty lit, was deemed designated driver, this is the part where doug escaped "retirement inn" for a better spread...lol
met doug's family to go to universal studios,yes, we made a trade or two...epcot was abruptly cancelled,hmmm.lol.ma and pa r were wonderful, called doug's work "this stuff"...i had to assure them doug really knew what he was doing...lol
never, ever, buy a hopper pass which allows you 4-5 days at the parks,unless you are a glutton fer punishment.
after the midweek roundtable, we are confident alski knows all about trendlines, since we drew them for hours having access only to meta-java.somebody bring a puter with software!!!!
well, soon my family will be reunited, but in all, with the exception of those that are still down there too sick to travel, a good blend of family fun and ta was had. i lost all the hearing in my right ear from the flight home, but i'm sure that will be back soon too! so if you see me on IM , talk really LOUD!!!
