John,
I wrote to the company recently and, per the new web-site, requested a sample of the cryomat product. They sent me a nice size sample and a short, ~ 4 minute, video on the uses of the product and some other PR materials - some of it a little dated. All in all a very decent package that I think you would find interesting.
I think the video - obviously done to get a sales foot in the door of prospective customers in the Airline, Food and Pharmaceutical Industries - is very well done and should get some good follow-up calls for a face to face presentation by management. Well, at least I thought it was good as the quality is excellent and the presentation is crisp and clear.
This increase in size (almost a triple) of the initial order with that un-named (bashful?) Pharmaceutical Co. is a very good sign. If they were unhappy with the product, I doubt very much that this would have happened.
Some might think that the funds ($1.1 @ 0.75/share) raised was dilutive and, of course, it is. However, it's hard to get more business without spending some money to advertise the product (i.e. push it) and also have the ability to meet demand for any product requested by increasing productive capacity. Also, this latest latest push into the US (and I understand maybe even European) market should bode well for further sales and resultant valuation of the company's stock.
As for financial info, I haven't seen much. I think it's telling, however, that until very recently creditors were 'taking stock in lieu of debt payments'. I'd have to take that as a vote that they were not able to pay the day to day operating bills and were therefore running in the 'red'.
That period seems to be over now. With these latest orders and marketing efforts, we should see a true financial statement in a few months and maybe even a profit per share recorded. We'll have to wait and see.
In the meantime, the technical picture of the stock is all over the map - day to day. With this latest news, however, we could see MACD turn positive and the stock rally sharply over $1.00. If it does this on high volume and sustained trading, it'll be the real thing and therefore headed higher. It's still, in my estimation, a decent value in this price area of $0.75 to $0.80 (afterall someone just put over $1 million on the table at $0.75/share and can't trade the stock for sometime). If CII can record another large order with another company, like Fed-Ex or Bayer or Air Canada, we will really be off to the races.
