A company is worth whtever someone is willing to pay for it...plain and simple.Comparing worth with other stocks is futile..those people that calibrated worth and PE never got to participate in the huge gains in internet stocks last few months.BTW,the opposite is true also...there are many small-cap stocks that are selling at ridiculously low prices compared with other,just as worthy,stocks in the same sector.
