David, My goal in my posts is to reach an understanding of where I am coming from and a history that you have not been an active participant in recently. In order to have understanding there has to be knowledge and facts. I am mostly a dispensationalist as is the Baptist Church from my understanding. That is the core of the disagreements I have had with Emile and CHris for they are very much Covenant Amilenialist. This is a small group within the body of Christ and are radical in their replacement theology which I do not agree with. Added to that are the multitudes of posts revealing the Jewish people as evil and the big anti-Christ from Daniel. I am insensed over bad doctrine and using any group of people to further a position. To have all of the covenants of God be exclusively to the Church they are forced to denegrate and get rid of the Jewish people for it would not work and the errors to numerous. I am a part of the body of Christ and count on Gods integrity to do what he has said and that not being determined by men in a way that He could not forsee for IMO He is omnipotent and soviergn(sp), Bless His Name, and His plan will continue regardless of any vote or human effort to force His will. The Jewish people have been plagued by a very poor history with forced converstions from the Church and I see this again in Emiles attitudes and I know that any Jews reading this will be turned away instantly. Anyway I like the voting process compared to Elder rule both can be frustrating but I choose to step back and look at the needs of the people instead of the politics. James 3 17: But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 18: And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. Those are the standards we are to uphold in our communications:-) Nancy |
