Here's the last news release from this dog:
Reclamation Management Ltd - Airborne survey on ZL claims to begin Shares issued 96,761,627 RMLL Friday Nov 27 1998 1998-11-11 close $0.005 Ms. Joan Purdy reports Further to the company's recent news releases on the newly-optioned ZL claims southeast of Lac de Gras, Northwest Territories, the mobilization to begin a 1,500 line kilometre airborne geophysical survey over the 37,916.3 acre claim block in the central Slave Craton has been completed. The ZL claims are about 40km northeast of Winspears' Snap Lake project within the NWT's diamond corridor, between BHP/Dia Met's Ekati and RTZ/Aber's Diavik diamond mines and Monopros' 5034 diamond project. Previous exploration work on the claims has identified an indicator mineral anomaly consisting of more than 100 kimberlitic indicator minerals from three closely spaced samples. Barren samples up-ice of the three anomalous samples suggest the source of the indicator minerals are most likely on the ZL claims. The geophysical survey is designed to locate magnetic and electromagnetic anomalies near the indicator mineral targets already defined on the property. In order to provide the most detail, the survey will be conducted by helicopter at 30 metres above the ground at 100-metre interval flight lines. The survey is a state-of-the-art technology designed by Geotech called the Hummingbird, and is considered to be an ideal system to identify kimberlite bodies in the Northwest Territories. Reclamation is the operator of the project. ----- ----- Also, just how is (was) this alleged costly survey: "will be conducted by helicopter at 30 metres above the ground at 100-metre interval flight lines," going be payed for?
Anyone have any more current information than this??
Cheers, -j :> PS, also note that in the RMML NR prior to this one, the ZL caims were 80km from the WSP Sap claims:
Tuesday Oct 20 1998 Mr. Donald Sheldon reports Pure Gold, in continuing with its search for diamonds in the Slave region of the Northwest Territories, has entered into an agreement with Reclamation Management, Cypango Ventures and Inukshuk Capital whereby it can earn a 20 per cent interest in the ZL claims approximately 80 kilometres east-northeast of Winspear's Snap Lake area new diamond discovery and within the Lac de Gras field of kimberlites. --- Maybe the WSP "project" is, loosely speaking, on the whole bigger than the "discovery area" and RMLL (DS/Purdy) found a loophole to shrink the proximity measure from 80km to 40km... |
