That darn WS2_32.DLL file... Thanks for the info. It seems that America Online software uses that .dll as well. I still think it some sort of 32bit program extension, but for what...who knows. I'll check a few Win 95 systems at work tomorrow to see if I can find that file in the \Windows\System directory. If so, a straight copy over might fix Steve's problem. Richard
