Russett, Not only did Barrick fail in their takeover attempt, but how does it look when your broker calls (due to the tender offer) and asks if you would like to sell your shares at below market value?? It is an insult to your intelligence. Takeovers are done at above market value, not below. A company of Barrick's stature should know this. I expect Barrick will be back with a real offer, above market value, in the near future. DB
