The problems are never ending. Form day one the speakers never worked (factory fitted, Altec, I found out later that they shipped them knowing they had a problem.) The computer does not wake up after I put it to sleep - i.e. I cannot reboot but have to turn the power off. Fatal exceptions occur in all programs (take note ALL), makes no difference if it is Palm Pilot, AOL, or anything else I have on this piece of crap. The cursor freezes in all programs and I have to reboot or switch off power (4-6 times every day!). The Dell QuietKey pad freezes (about 1-2 times a day), have to turn power off. They, (Dell) have sent me upgrades, new software etc. etc to solve the problem, sometimes with good service most times with poor service. The cursor vanishes in some programs (again you have to reboot). Nothing has solved the problem and they do not want this piece of crap back. I keep the Dell invoice on my desk at all times because it has all the phone numbers etc. that I use. I have used expert services to come and clean up the computer i.e. take everything off and reload. I am not a computer expert but believe me NOTHING has been fixed in almost a year and this Dell is a piece of CRAP!!!!! The mouse gives problems every 3 months (they have sent me software to fix it, did not work!) There are more problems but will not bore you with it.
