blankmind,

You starting figuring it out. When #1 does it - depending on what "IT" is - it is illegal! That is the concept that so many people have trouble grasping.

What has MSFT done that is illegal? You havent been following the trial. When a company (MSFT) that has a clear monopoly of the desktop OS marketshare (DOS/WIndows/Win9x with estimates of 90%+ of the marktetshare)uses its monopoly in that marketshare to take over marketshare in another technology - that is illegal. In this case MSFT, who realized that Netscape was the clear market leader in the Browser technology and that MSFT felt it needed to control that technology (for obvious reasons), it bought an Internet Browser and stuck it into its OS. It then gave it away free of charge and inserted installation tools so that it shows up as the default browser to install when the OS is installed.

THAT IS ILLEGAL! Do you wish for me to go on?
