I don't know what you mean about a Ledford claim to be the "sole" inventor. He could be (I think he is) the sole inventor on his patented method of using pyro, but that is not the same thing as claiming to be the only person entitled to use pyro -- others use it, and for tires, and all have difficulties commercializing it. - Charles
