You can omit the last line if it makes you nervous. It will
give you a choice of booting with the VGA driver.


I was glad I had the option. I broke a monitor and replaced it with one with less capability. I do not recall the details but I had to use the VGA option. There were two issues. One was I could not see anything. The other was the dialog box did not fit the screen..answers to the view res settings questions were off the page.

I believe I booted to VGA and then tabbed and guessed for the dialog box.

I recall the VGA option in my dual boot setups. Single boot NT setups boot directly to NT without the option. How does one boot VGA in a standard single boot setup? modify the boot.ini file from a floppy DOS boot if necessary?
