I just ran into this fascinating forecast on the grand plan of 401K plans..it basically says that it's a cruel trap designed to make people pay the highest marginal tax rates in retirement. Greenspan's biggest headache is how to pay for medicare and social security, so this is a must-read for anybody in a 401K plan.
