Any comments on Brazillian auctions and what it would mean to Loral... Three Firms Bid on Slots Auctioned by Brazil Bidding for two Brazilian orbital slots are Loral Skynet, Telesat Canada and America Star Telecomunicacoes S.A. Anatel, the Brazilian telecommunications authority, will open each company's sealed bid March 16. The government's rules for the auction require each bid to be at least 1.85 million reals ($989,300).
