John: I'm a complete novice. I've read both ends of the spectrum. Until last night I decided that nothing bad will happen, I few hiccups and everything would be alright in a couple of weeks.

I'm working at a small company with about 8oo employees. We have about 800 networked computers with a ful IS department.

I had Microsoft word opened and I imported an excel spreadsheet. In one of the date columns I put in the Number "34". When I went to the next cell the date "2-3-1900" appeared in the previous cell. Now I'm back to where I was one month ago - worried as hell.

I thought I would share this with you.

Roger
