Gottfried - re: Virus stuff. Just got around to catching up on the thread and saw your situation - not an uncommon one. For my money, a program that identifies a potential virus (even a false detect) is a step above one that doesn't see it as a threat. What you're seeing in a false detect is the finding of a string of code (or text) that conforms to something that has been identified as a virus itself or a fragment of something the virus creates. I'm curious as to why the vendor tells you the file is OK and "not to worry." Chances are they use McAfee on their systems-level servers. Mr. K.
