From DELL (Dubious Earnings Loyally Lauded)
RESPONSE FROM WALL STREET WEEK

LETTER TO WALL STREET WEEK

Feb 14, 1999

Mr. Rukeyser,
I have been an avid viewer of your show over the years and consider it a model
example of balanced business
journalism.

In view of the volatility of DELL's valuation following a recent report released by
Mr. Niles which has raised
the suspicion of abusive manipulation, would you be so kind and
obtain comments from Mr. Niles as to "what caused his opinion to change with
regards to DELL in just 10
days?"

Mr. Niles at the beginning of February seemed satisfied that DELL would attain
its objectives and expected
sales of $5.5 billion. Following DELL's run-up days prior to the earnings release,
Mr. Niles suddenly makes
an aboutface. Many investors are left baffled.

THANK YOU

Vince Geracitano

REPLY from WSW. Hopefully they'll look into it:

"Thank you for visiting the Wall $treet Week With Louis Rukeyser website. All
questions and comments are immediately passed on to the program staff. Your interest
is warmly appreciated."

Sounds like WSW will be all over it. LOL. Geez, when are these guys gonna join reality? What planet are these guys on? Are they in that bubble in Arizona, Biosphere without Oxygen.com?
