realnetworks has 50mm registered users Nothing against Real Networks..but the above is one major difference. No registration..no nothing required to download and play mp3 files. Most of the players are freeware..and most of the music is free..and much higher fidelity than anything RealAudio can currently handle. You perhaps have heard of the new Diamond Rio player...it plays mp3 files! If you want to know more about mp3, ask any college student with a web connection...or visit a few of these sites.. 2look4.com members.tripod.com mp3now.com exchange2000.com I am a shareholder of both AOL and NSCP..have no axe to grind..just interested in getting the latest info out there. If you don't know about mp3...excuse me..but you haven't been paying attention.
