Amazon.com (AMZN) may buy Borders (BGP) ... That would certainly refute Amazon's business model wouldn't it. All the hype surrounding etailing is that it's "new world", bricks and mortar is "old world" and to be scorned. Bezos says a lot of strange things but I don't think he is ready to say he needs real stores to make his business work. That, or any acquisition of real stores is diametrically opposed to what he believes to be the perfect model. I think somebody's smoking something funny. RC
