Well there's no doubt that Amazon's stock is worth far more than the company. They'd certainly be foolish not to spend some of that capital on acquisitions. I just don't see Bezos buying any "real value" as you put it. I think a more likely scenario is they acquire other internet retailers, maybe software, maybe hardware, things they can easily fold into their operation.

Perhaps. But, the "so-called" perfect model loses money on every transaction.

So what.
