I agree with much of the content in the message you referred to. I really don't think there is much to any buyout rumors. It comes up whenever a good company takes a dumper. I think many people look for white knights to come along pay a huge premium and rescue their stock.


I'd be interested to know where this poster obtained his information about Pfeffer's "buy in". I've not seen anything published on how his deal was structured. I'm always suspect of unsubstantiated information like that. Perhaps you could quiz him on that point.

One other observation. This poster too, like 98% of all Borders commentators, is hung up on Amazon's profitability. No one yet, has been able to enlighten me as to how that's relevant to Borders. Maybe you can. I think it's just venting.
