Dear David; Why did God choose the Jews? IMHO it is because they suited His purposes. They will not fail God because God is not surprised by their rebellion. It was part of His plan. They represent the entire church of the Messiah. All of us are rebellious children if we are honest. God will continue to love us when we fail and he will continue to love them as well. Someday He will once again deal with the world through the Jews. They will return to him and fulfill his purpose. Praise God that His promises are without repentance. He chose me when I was dead in trespass and sin. He is longsuffering with me as well. He will complete the work He has begun in me. He will do so with the Jewish people as well.
