Bob, that estimate was for U.S. households, and it projected 80% of broadband would be cable. As far as the European situation, that is a good point, although I have not seen projections. However, having lived in Europe for many years, I would have to agree that their cable services are in much better shape, or at least they were when I lived there. Not sure if this was because they were better at providing for future growth or because their telcos were so terrible, maybe a combination of both :-)

However, as far as ATHM is concerned, they may have a harder time with establishing exclusive arrangements as a broadband portal in Europe.
