How about neither? If I remember my basic strategy you hit if the dealer has a 2,7,8,9,Face or Ace showing. And you might be supposed to hit if dealer has a 3 or 4 up, but I get a little fuzzy on the 2's, 3's and 4's. One thing I know for sure is you never split sixes and you'd be insane to double down with 12.

I like craps as well. People who bet the don't pass remind me of shorties. Except the don't pass people don't sit there telling you how the shooter is going to crap out and you are going to lose all of your money.
