Steve thank you for the post let me take a crack :-)) at this bullish remarks though. At 1st I expected the talk of growing market etc but "competition is weakest" is really not true. I do not believe that any analyst would not know that. AMD and CYRX is finally are coming with competative products after a long wait. Apple might have a second come back with their new chips. "every alternative microprocessor is clearly loosing ground to intel" ??? Most of them have not been introduced yet (k6, m2) and the one that was finally inroduced that is k5 no metter how late it came is giving pentium competition. In the industry this trick is common and highly illegal but SEC rearly investigate those because they are hard to prove. Analyst most probably is connected to one or more companies or funds that have huge stake in intel and untill those player would unload there would be no downgrades. I believe Fidelity did that with MU but they were outragesly bold because they tried to use it to unload their own holdings and that is what sec is paying attention to. So fidelity did not get away with it. Best Regards -Albert ps and thanks for inviting me to your personal club -- Ask Steve
