Yes MDMI picked up the Java Centrale franchises including a very few company owned. Java Centrale then changed its name to Paradise Bakery and had almost closed a deal selling the entirety to a major food distributor(owns Church's Chicken) and was about to buy a small business internet termed axcess. Deal fell through. In either case Java Centrale was headed to Chapter 13. The stores lost money, margins were tight, competition fierce. Coffee by the way was outstanding.
