Patricia, shame on you. Let me see. Because Susan Smith's stepdad was the chairman of the local Republican Party he molested her and this led directly to her strapping those two babies in that car and pushing them into a lake? Nope. Sorry. Susan Smith was a self serving, rapacious, little shit who saw her chance of marrying into money going out the window and did the one thing she could think of to salvage that relationship. Her stepfather's supposed molestation was a (successful) defense ploy to try to keep her out of the electric chair. His political views had nothing to do with killing those little boys.

Tarring and feathering entire political parties, whether Conservative or Liberal for the criminal acts of individuals just doesn't hold any water.

Unless, of course, that individual happens to be the President and is directly responsible for that party's actions.
