What are your thoughts on the Celeron shortage in retail.

Either demand is so good that they are keeping them for tier 1 suppliers like Dell. In which case this is good news.

Or they are having some production problems/cutbacks to help with PII or PIII demand. In which case this is still good news.

Or perhaps they have sucker-punched AMD by dropping prices and then decided to limit production volumes to keep their average ASP's/Margins high.

I suspect it is the latter in which case AMD has unnecassarily slashed prices to land a few new OEMS.

PS. I enjoy your posts immensely....keep up the faith and good work on turning the Intelers around.
