I bet you installed your NT0 booted from "D" via the bios.

Right...because thats where nt0 was going.


Correct me if I am wrong. You installed NT from an IDE '2' boot. However the recent problem arose (maybe) from a restore rather than an install?

I am curious about your original boot.ini file..the one Jon set up for you. I recall he had to try a couple of times. I wonder if it was a standard boot.ini file or if it may have had an extra line or two in it from install attempts.

I will check my single boot machines tomorrow. I do not recall seeing th OS loader 'flash by'. I do recall the press space bar option for previous hardware profile or something to that affect.
