An excellent point. Right or wrong, perception is often the reality. And we are witnessing this firsthand with Dell. Even if my Dell thread contacts are right about their interpretation of IDC data, Dell could still be lower after great earnings than it would had the damage not been done. But over the longer term, Dell's massive sequential earnings growth will continue to crush analysts' reputations. Agreed?
