Hi Henry, thanks for link. I am going to see Dr. Mirkin tomorrow, and he said he would give me prescription for Celebrex. The local CVS has some in stock, "not much" the pharmacist said, but I may start it tomorrow. I will let you know what I think.
Coincidentally, I just started taking something, MSM, methyl sulfonyl methane, I read about it in a book at Border's, I was in so much pain I would have taken rat poop if someone said it would help. Amazingly enough, it works! I have much less pain and inflammation. It is also called "crystal DMSO" or DMSO2. It is used in other countries, not well studied here, probably because it can't be patented. I have no idea what its potential side effects are, the book (written by two physicians, one at Medical College of Virginia in Richmond) claims it is safe. Anyway, it works. |
