Good eye on Griffiths, Robin.

You're right on their domination of the asks. In the past 3 months they've unloaded roughly 1.3 million shares for a average valuation of $2.1 million (Stockwatch numbers).

They were particularly aggressive during the "30 days ended November 15" period (selling 714,000). In the past 30 days, they've unloaded only 331,000 shares, but as you note, they remain the dominant seller.

Aside from knowing that their broker code is 74, that's all I know about Griffiths' relationship to DRL. This interests me as I'm seeing the same thing with MAL, where NewCrest (broker 28) seems to be dominating the show over there.

Anyone interested in explaining the market mechanics behind what we're seeing here with DRL and over at MAL? I cannot help but think that there are some important lessons to be learned from all this.

Thomas
