"Does anyone know how to get Netscape to save your login/password for logging into SI?"

Netscape won't save passwords. MSIE will.

There is a way you can do it, but it can be dangerous.
Edit the SI URL that you keep in your favorites or bookmarks or whatever Netscape calls them to include your username and password, such as;

http://myname:mypassword@talk.techstocks.com

If you store this URL, it should log you in automatically.

The problem, if I understand it correctly, is that any website you subsequently visit outside of SI can store the URL from which you came, and could therefore steal your login info. I could, for instance, post a link to a homepage at Geocities, and if you clicked on it, I could learn your login info. You'd also have to be careful cutting and pasting SI URL's into your responses or you could post your login info into a response.
