First of all, I know that I am talking to a person that is so MSFT biased that logic bends around you and the topic of MSFT. You warp logic with your silly arguments soo bad it hurts. I sure as heck hope others can see what your saying a dismiss it.

Your Cars/AirConditioner example is a complete joke. And to say that MSFT does not have a Monopoly goes against almost every other NON-BIASED industry analyst opinion that I have read. And then there is this logic of yours that has concluded that a company with a monopoly cannot ever lose it - because if it risks losing it then it wasnt a monopoly in the first place! WHAT?!?!?!?!?

Just because a company has a monopoly on a product, doesnt mean that it will keep that monopoly for life eternal. Technology evolves and the company with the monopoly must keep up with good upgrades to hold the loyality. The recent strong Linux penetration is a very strong sign the MSFT's Windows OSes are not keeping up with the demands of the consumer. If they did, then Linux would not be an issue today. Please dont be dumb enough to say that Linux is penetrating for other reasons - for your own sake.

As for MSFT losing the trial eventually, I can see the writing on the wall. So lets make a friendly bet on this Ed. I will say that MSFT will lose the first round and it will also lose any future apeal that rears its ugly head. I feel lucky tonight - how bout you?
