Hi Phil, I don't think it's that far off topic, at all. These are the same considerations that ITSPs are facing in their PSTN integration rituals with the traditional carriers. In fact, I'm looking at a similar situation right now over in the Compuserve threads by a startup who's doing inter-carrier tandem services.
