Zsolt says that after the company stock price shot up
so quickly in 96 the company rethought strategy a
little bit. One aspect that was revisited was line
standardization. By standardizing the lines, they
could experience many benefits: quality
standardization, speedup in line installation,
price breaks on equipment, etc.

Obviously internal QA accepted the new product.
Field trials are just prudent.
