example is a joke ? can you give some logic to challenge that example , instead of just said that is a joke ?
As to who will win, well, tell you the truth, I do not care at all !!! As an investor, I can invest in the new Microsoft, this is a global market anyhow !!! I do not know who will win or lose at this point, it all depends on how the monopoly is being defined, and if there is any justice in the judge's mind. I do not have my mind being pre set that Microsoft will win because it is Microsoft or the DOJ will win because it represented the government , but what I do know that this case is about monopoly, and the abuse of monopoly power, and by reading all the written testimonies from all the witness so far, I did not see a single clue that the DOJ has proved Microsoft is a monopoly , of course can not prove Microsoft had abuse the monopoly power either, because DOJ can not prove Microsoft is a monopoly. As to who will win , well, just like what I have said above , it all depends on the judge. Of course , if you are the judge, and you define the monopoly, then I will bet Microsoft will lose. But unfortunately, you are not the judge, and you did not define the law.
Do I care if Microsoft will lose of win ? Not at all. If Microsoft lose and got broken up, then a new Microsoft will rise , it can be from Japan, China, India, Europe, or US. We all know that a lot of countries want to build their own new Microsoft, and the break up of Microsoft ( Self destruction) may be a good opportunity. The reason that Microsoft is Microsoft is because it is Microsoft came to the market and define the product, and every body follow. Now , Microsoft got destroyed, well, I bet
there will be a new Microsoft come up to the horizon pretty soon, but this time , the new Microsoft will come up from the country which has the largest market, and we
already see that happen in other industry . Do, I care if Microsoft will win or lose ? Well, I really don't. Just like what I said , this is a global market, as an investor , I can invest on the new Microsoft in other countries. I do not think you really care either !!!!!!! |
