I believe Google is from IBM if my memory is correct). I recall an article I read which spoke of upcoming new search engines ( cruncher was among them). The other search engines mentioned in that article was Google, DirectHit, and Welcome To. Wish I could recall which site I was on. It was a great site. If I find the link I will post it. Merylee
